Unmasking Parenthood

At the Mossman Play Therapy Center, we’re dedicated to supporting not only the children we work with—but the parents and caregivers who love them. This event is part of our free parenting series, designed to offer education, encouragement, and community for caregivers of our current clients.

You’ll learn:

  • Use art as a grounding and restorative self-care practice
  • Increase awareness of emotional roles in parenting
  • Practice simple real-life mindfulness and regulation strategies
  • Strengthen connection and emotional safety with children

This reflective art therapy workshop invites caregivers to explore the emotional layers of parenthood through mask making. Parents will pause, reconnect with themselves, and build awareness of how their inner experiences support co-regulation, emotional resilience, and more meaningful connections with their children.
