Kristen Brown is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Counseling from Franklin Pierce University and her Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Bridgewater State University.

Throughout her career, Kristen has worked in outpatient therapy settings and as part of a community-based Crisis Intervention team. Her background in crisis response and suicide assessment informs her thoughtful, attentive approach to client care and treatment planning.

Kristen is passionate about using play therapy and a child-centered approach to help young clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. She has received training in Synergetic Play Therapy and integrates this with other evidence-based methods to address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life adjustments, behavioral challenges, coping skill development, and family communication.

In addition to working individually with children, Kristen also partners with caregivers through parent therapy, offering support and strategies to strengthen the parent-child relationship and enhance overall family dynamics.
